Tzad Gimmel doesn't cover property damage to your vehicle. It does cover damages your vehicle causes to other vehicles or property. Damages are covered up to the policy limit. This type of car insurance is mainly appropriate for older vehicles with a low market value.
Comprehensive Car Insurance (Makif – מקיף)
Makif covers everything covered by Tzad Gimmel. In addition, it covers your vehicle for fire, explosion, vandalism, collision, and theft. This is the coverage you should have if you own a newer vehicle or any vehicle with significant market value.
